Simons has worked internationally with leaders at senior corporate levels and also with the socially marginalized as a nurse and Family Psychotherapist. He has taught leadership and coaching at leading international business schools, is an author and academic, yet he considers himself primarily as a change agent for people and organizations.

Simon draws on psychoanalytic theory and currently directs the Tavistocks MA in Organizational Consultancy. His recent book Leadership A Critical Text (Sage 2008) sets out an exciting new vision for leadership development in the 21st century.

Simon sums up his work saying his aim “is to work creatively with leaders and organizations to emancipate the human spirit.”
