• Tavistock Consultancy Service - derived from the famous Tavistock Clinic of London is an organizational consulting centre dedicated to conducting work “below the surface” of organizations, that is, touching those aspects of organizational life that are most difficult to name and measure, but which determine the success or failure of most change management processes. Since the 1950s, all good organizational science textbooks have cited the Tavistock Clinic (and its spin-offs: Tavistock Institute, Tavistock Consultancy Service, The Tavistock and Portman etc.). It has been cited as the birthplace of the psycho-social stream of science called Organizational Development (OD). Tavistock Consultancy Service is represented in our program by Dr. Simon Western.
