The aim of this two-day module is to introduce the participants to the concept of Organizational Development (OD), and to deepen their understanding of an Organizational Development consultant's role and approach.
During this training you will thoroughly investigate the diversity and changing nature of the organizational world. Dr. Simon Western will take you on a trip through time: by observing how businesses have been changing over the last 100 years you will see that the role of consultants supporting their development must have been changing as well. From here it is just a small step to the question of the challenges which Organizational Development consultants face at the beginning of the 21st century.
You will understand better the role of an OD consultant as a change agent for an organization. You will learn how to step into a relationship with an organization so that this relationship becomes a systemic intervention from the very beginning. An area of particular interest will be the subject of the tools applied in the work of a consultant. After two days of training you will have a better idea of when and how to use Organizational Development tools, such as Advisio tools.
