A 'GOOD ENOUGH' ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE: A PREREQUISITE FOR SUCCESSFUL CHANGE MANAGEMENT

The most frequently applied organizational culture diagnosis tools allow for classification in one group or another in accordance with the specific culture typology. Unfortunately, while such diagnosis might be very enlightening, the key question of how we can possibly change a specified culture into another remains unanswered. Attempts to “correct” culture run awry or remain futile as one does forget about a key underlying condition necessary for any change to be possible in an organization: trust. This is why organizational culture-related projects, while sponsored by the highest management, hardly bring about any results in practice.

During this one-day training you will receive a tool which will allow you to tap this realm of intangible, yet so present aspect of every organization. Delight Index examines the climate in an organization presenting the results for organizational units and entire organizations in the form of a Bernoulli distribution.

If the climate is suitable the organization has sufficient employee trust to involve them in processes of change which require them to modify their behavior and thinking. However, if it is not suitable the changes should be those that allow trust to be gradually developed.

When leaving this training, you will receive a complimentary educational starter package thanks to which you will be able to perform the Delight Index diagnosis on a group of 1,000 employees in an unlimited number of organizations.

The day closes the first round of training comprising the certification program. At this point you can end the process receiving the First Certificate in Organizational Development or continue with the second round after an interval that leads to the full Advanced Certificate in Organizational Development Consulting certificate.
